    Hey,

Trying to see if someone has an M20 B25 expansion tank in near new condition before ordering a new one. Thanks!

You can grab an old one and flush it with citric acid.

Yesterday on eBay there was an early style round expansion tank NOS,it was exactly like the originals unlike all of the white plastic reproductions ,I do not know if it still there but should not be hard to find.

Yeah I'm gonna go with this option. Late model expansion tank into an early model requires drilling- not happening on my mint car :)

An option Ive wanted to see someone try is to use the overflow line that the E34 M5 uses. Its overflow outlet is on the driver side, same as the late model/E36/Z3 radiators, but has the overflow on the pass side, same as the early model. Tried to pull it up in realoem, but their server is down.

You can kind of see it in this pic.

I dont know for sure if it would work, but it would be a good alternative to look at rather than running the smaller radiator. I successfully used a M42 though and its not horrible

                edit: heres another one
