      HI everyone

Third attempt worked as a charm. I had to refuse two bacthes of laser cut parts. The cutting was not smooth and the adapters had warped from the heat.

Shipping on Thursday morning. I sincerely apologize for the delays.

On the left - e80 and e90 adapters for e30 chassis - Sold out
Center - e80 and e90 adapters for e28 chassis - Two sets available

All kits have shipped this morning. e30 and e28.

I apologize for the delays. I had to refuse two productions that were laser cut with very poor quality. I went to another supplier.

e28 kit pictured. e30 kits were already boxed and shipped.

Will forward tracking numbers this afternoon

The first production has sold out. Sorry.
Next batch will be at the end of January. I'll wait to hear from people who were in the first batch before starting another.
And the price will be between 250 and 300$ CAD. I sold that first batch barely above cost and I included my design work for free... ;-)

I received them earlier this week, but have not had a chance to open them yet. I hope to possibly install this weekend, depending on how difficult it is to remove the front studs. Speaking of which...

I don't have a zip gun, so I will be hammering them out. I did apply POR-15 all over the floor boards so I hope that does make it more difficult.

A third solution is to cut the portruding stud with a grinder and cutting disc, Cut it flat to the pan. Then punch the center of the cut stub to mark where to drill, and drill out in two steps. Small bit then larger bit,
Apply POR15, then fit the Nut Insert with a Nutsert tool.

                  or without the specialized tool

Anyone installed the e90 seats in e30 yet? how low do the seats fit relative to e30 seats from a height perspective ? i find even if the back rest is fairly upright the stock e30 sport seats are quite high and there is bugger all headroom on a sunroof car.

I've got mine sir. Thanks again. Unfortunately, I was laid off and now all projects have come to a halt while I find employment so there will be no progress of install on my part. I look forward to seeing how others do with their install.

I am quite surprised you find the e30 Sport seats too high. I had them in my Hartge H23 and in the e30 M3. Both with sunroof, and both being tracked. I could adjust the seat to be quite low, and even with my 5'11" and a helmet, touching the roof was never a situation.

I suspect that perhaps some seat adjusters cannot be fully lowered in some cars.

As a reference, the area where your butt sits on a manual e90 seat is 7.5" off the floorpan

555 timer? What does it do? Please elaborate. Pretty sure some people will be interested to know what it does... ;-)

This video explains it pretty well.

You don't necessarily need it. It will just be annoying when you want it to work and won't because you have to wait for it to reset.

Thanks for the link. The explanations are pretty straight forward

                                - Find a 12v source and an accessory 12v that switches off with the car. Connect it to the seat
                                - Connect a T555 module to feed the CANBUS so that it stays alive. high is + while low is ground.

Wondering if there's a switch for the heating located on the seat, or if it must be added perhaps on the dash.
