              UPDATE

I took out my rear adjuster and both upper and lower spring pads, the car is STILL HIGHER than with the Eibach springs.

              FALSED!

I did a quick search before I decided to buy it and one of the things that multiple people commented was that the front can go undrivably low where as the rear doesn't get much drop.

This is true - however, the front can come down a little more but the rear definitely needs to come down some more. The rear settles in nice after a couple of thousand miles, however, not as low as I would like it. Removing the rear adjusters gives you maybe a 1/4inch drop but nothing more. My coils took about 3k to fully settle.

I have a vert and all I need is the rear to drop a little and the front to drop big time.

No offense guys but you are serious complaining that a set of $400 coilovers arent perfect? What the hell do you expect? And i dont know what you guys are doing wrong but my springs havent even settled all the way and i am tucking half tire on some 205/45/16

This is with no adjuster or bottom spring pad in the rear. Considering taking the top pad off as well, but we'll see. I like how it looks at the moment, but I have a feeling I'll wanna go lower. I'm in no way worried about the front..that is only about 3/4 of the way down..if that.

The higher rear arches on the early models call for more drop - platic bumper models with the low rear arches look great on this setup.

It's not that they're 'not perfect' it's that everyone is raving about how these will go low enough that your windows will scrape, when that's not really the case. We've expected a cheap suspension kit with the only real benefit of being height adjustable without breaking the bank. To think we are doing something wrong is a pretty ignorant statement, you'd seriously have to try to install these wrong.

I'm just a bit bothered that to ever get the car back to where it started (with Eibach springs) I have the rears installed with NO pads and NO adjusters. I currently have my 17's on for winter and with 205/40 tires the wheel lip isn't even tucking yet. I usually run 16's with 215/35's and I know for sure now that there's gonna be a huge gap.

When I wanted low I'm not kidding around. I want on the ground hit your door on a curb LOW. That is what was implied earlier in the thread and that's why most of us ponied up for these. I'm not necessarily complaining, just stating that the facts should have been clearly put out there instead of having the whole 'find out yourself once you install them' feel. If you want to hear me complain about them, ask me how the ride quality is- it rides just like a $400 suspension, end of story.
