After some research, it seems the electrical connection for the in tank pump is hanging on by a thread. Is this common? Requires new pump, I guess? The connection to the fuel level sending unit is intact and can be removed. The other connection I speak of popped off as soon as I touched it. It rusted off the car. Where does this connection go to?

The early and late cars take 2 different types of connectors.

Late is a sealed connector terminal that matches thinks like coolant reservoir level sensor in a late car.
Early connector terminals match the same as your front turn signals.

Both can be bought new from BMW, I can get the P/n if that helps.

I was up above it, Now I'm down in it ~ Entropy - A Build thread.

So odd thing is that I got a late model tank but it only fits ~12.5gal. Unless my fuel level sender is off, it does not fit 16gal when needle is very low Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
