You can't use 5 lug wheels just by changing out the rotors. Look in the suspension section, there's a thread here explaining 5-lug swaps I believe.

Common guys the wheel doesn't bolt to the rotor, it's a little more involved than that, sorry for further derailing thread I'll stop now but go to the 5 lug swap subforum don't ask any more questions in here.

Actually an 11.8" rotor would look just fine in a 17" wheel...it just looks freakin huge in a 15...

OK the 11.8" 1 piece rotor kit has been finalized.

Test fitted it to the TR 15x8 wheel and it just BARELY touches the inner barrel of the wheel.

If you don't mind shaving the outer edge of a caliper it will fit. 16" and larger wheels should fit OK.

Pricing has stayed the same, will offer it to forum members for $635 plus shipping.

              Kit will have:

              300mm x 25mm 1 piece rotors
              Wilwood Dynalite calipers
              Wilwood BP20 performance pads
              Mounting brackets and hardware
              Front braided steel brake lines
              Picture shows the Dynapro caliper.

Any pictures? Have you given up on the rear kit?

Ahh yeahh... Last time I checked you see more Alcon calipers at the professional level than Willwood.

Ive had Stoptech, Brembo, Alcon and Willwood calipers. The last were the worst ones.. On E36M3's and Porsche's...

Based on the cars listed in your sig I'd say you probably have not had much UUC products... Like every vendor UUC has good stuff and stuff thats just okay...

Those are some good prices though for a upgrade from stock..

Rear kit is almost finished, one minor change to the bracket and it will be ready, probably this weekend.

UUC doesn't make an Alcon kit for the E30, so the rest of your post is pretty pointless on an E30 forum. Thanks for dropping a turd in the punch bowl though!

I like that you are putting the effort into developing these kits. I only have one question. I would assume you are dealing directly with a brake rotor wholesaler/distrbutor. Can you not ask them to supply you blank rotors? That way there would be no issues with PCD's clashing, but as you mention it doesn't affect rotor performance.

Over here in Australia atleast DBA had no issue supplying us with a set of blank rotors allowing us to put our own PCD in the hats.

                        Keep up the great work!

p.s. Maybe you could use the solid E30 front rotors off early model 318i's to do a similar thing on the front to what you did with the rear?

I'll check with my DBA supplier to see if they can source the rotors as blanks, thanks for the info.

I'll pick up an early 318 rotor and see what it would take to put a larger outer friction on it, thanks

No word back from DBA yet. The redrilled rotors work just fine. I've sold over 1000 sets of rotors with an overlapping hole with 0 issues. The stresses are at a tangent to the hole so any force is directed into the closed part of the hole...
