Sorry I can't post pics on here of the calipers, etc I'll be using for this kit, just not tech smart enough I guess. I do have the kits post on my website, WWW.Fastbrakes.com, under the BMW section.
We've been making brake kits for over 10 years, mainly for the Honda/Nissan/Toyota markets. We also create custom kits for just about anything.
Since I have the E30 and will be making a kit to put on there I thought I'd offer it up to forum members.
I'm not trying to take anything away from Massive, just offering something they don't.
We try to use OEM rotors whenever we can to make the kits more affordable. We can make them as a 2 piece design as well.
We've been selling 11" 4 piston kits for the Civic and Toyota AE86 using the Corrado rotor since 2000.
You can always email me at sales@fastbrakes.com or call if you any questions, 602 323 2110
As far as wheel clearance goes, the calipers will require at least an internal wheel diameter of approx 13.6", which means a minimum of a 15" wheel in most cases.
I'll be test fitting the kit to my TireRack 15x8's, but since my other 11.75" kit using the radial mount Dynapros cleared the wheel barrel area, this should fit as well since the caliper is moved inward on the the rotor I'm planning to use.

See how much a little background info helps? I'm all for competition on the marketplace as long is it's clear what's being offered and who from. For example I would gladly spend the money on Lee's brakes over UUC because most of their stuff is crap but having the cheaper option out there helps define the market. I'd still like to see some pictures and more info on this kit though....
Here's a pic of a 11.75" 2 piece rotor kit for the E30 we prototyped. This is a radial mount caliper; kits will probably use other style mounts as they are less expensive.
The wheel is the TR 15x8 http://i960.photobucket.com/albums/a.../E301175-4.jpg
Seriously.. I don't understand why people are opposed to competition coming into the market, lol.
The market isn't that big. We're talking about a dwindling number of fanatic e30 owners here and the question is, what is the reward for developing innovative new products for this small market?
The vendors that currently sell unique products to the e30 crowd (me included), roll the money into developing more new stuff. Support the vendors.
That said, I support anyone that has something new to offer. Supercharger brackets are a great recent example.
I hope this lasts past the holidays as that's when I will be ready to buy. Subscribed...

I'll be making the prototype bracket for this kit next week so I'll have a better idea of costs after that. Since I'll be making it for my own car, I'll take the brunt of the design and prototype machining etc, which won't require any specific number of buyers to get this off the ground.
I'll also start work on the rear 4 piston caliper upgrade at the same time to get the projects in sync.
I hear the Wilwood calipers do not have dust shields, and so aren't as good for street use as the Brembo or OE type calipers.
Another thing I would like a definitive answer on is what caliper can be used on the Z1 rear rotor, as it is bigger and vented, plus drops on a 4 lug E30.
Thanks!
Luke
