Gauging interest for rebuilt brake calipers

I was thinking like 150-175 for cars, more for trucks and SUV's. I'll do before and after, but I polished my car w/ a friend's griots kit a few weeks ago, which prompted this whole endeavor. I've posted threads on here, as well as a few other forums in the mountain section, and I've gotten some interest that way. I'll stick to local friends / family before venturing to strangers.... and since I don't wanna pollute your thread further, you can PM me back. I'm very open to all detailers cause I know what I'm doing, for the most part, but I don't really know the business aspect of it, so I'm trying to get a handle on things before I start working for $$.

Thanks for the heads up about the calipers to. Are they year specific, If I have ATE, do I need ATE or will Girling interchange? These are my questions, but I figure they could help others looking in the thread.

They were in fact year specific, but they cross over each other, so it's best to just look. As far as I know they are interchangeable, 84-91 all use the same pads and rotors, but I will purchase one of each and take measurements before anything else. You will always have ate rears, only some cars have girling fronts. What I'll do is set a core charge, and if you send back ATE fronts, there will be a deduction to what you get back.

This a good price. I bought rebuilts from BMA, and while painted and such. The coating is weak. Powdercoating is a much better option.

I've painted many calipers, it never lasts. I've gone crazy prepping them and sprayed or brushed them, it always cracks and falls apart. I hope to be able to give you guys a quality product that will last a great amount of time.

Sorry I won't have a firm price until some time after Christmas, as some supplies that I need are back ordered.

Grease will be cleaned via safety clean, or bake on oven cleaner. They will then be media blasted, dunked in a solvent, and baked again to remove residual oils.

If you are sourcing these from a junkyard, would you mind getting the front caliper brackets along with the front calipers. 318's have solid front disks FTL.
