Here are the first pictures of the new two-piece 280mm x 21mm rotors. They are replacements for the VW Corrado disc, but specifically redesigned for the e30 hub.

    1- Proper 66mm center bore
2- Proper location for the setscrew
3- Setscrew is thr stronger e46 unit
4- Proper hat thickness (no need for a thin custom spacer on certain wheels to clear the rotor's hub)
5- Assembly is 8lbs vs 12lbs for the G60 disc. A 4lbs saving per side. Plus the reduction of weight at the caliper.

Honestly, I am quite pleased. Lots in details in the machining that many might not even notice. It sure costs more to produce, but damn it looks (and works) better.

I tried and it can't be done, simply because the 160mm shoes are bigger than the disc's inside diameter.

The only way is to import late model Z1 rotors. If anybody wants to do that, then that persons can make money selling Z1 rotors, and I take care of the rest... But let's not fool ourselve by thinkimg it will be cheapo. Still a $799 kit with pads

We are on schedule. The main components have been shipped in bulk to Wisconsin, where they will be boxed separately with calipers, rotors and pads, and then shipped to their righfull owners. Complete kits should ship on Friday from Wisconsin. Tracking # will be forwarded.

I have already received most of the payments. Still waiting for two.

                Final follow up

All kits have been bundled and are living Wisconsin today by UPS (except for one missing payment). Expect 3 to 5 days for delivery. I will contact everyone individually when I have a UPS tracking #.

In the meantime, I will forward all the invoice by mail along with some massive stickers. They are available in red, silver and white. Please post here what color you want. Some Motorsport + Warsteiner stickers will also be included.

Thanks everyone for allowing this new version of a great kit to exist.

All tracking numbers have been sent a few minutes ago. Kits have been sent by UPS from Wisconsin.

I forgot to add the "torque stickers" on the bubblewrap enveloppes. Hat-to-disc torque is 25-28ft.lbs or firm hand.

I suggest to hold the head still with an Allen key, and torque the nut from the back. That will avoid scratching the nice aluinum...

I will mail Massive stickers by mail this week along with the invoice.

PLIZ - Show pictures of your newly installed kit ;-)

Next GB on a new product will be the Recaro base mounts and floor mounts.
The basemounts are compatible with KRX, SRD, Speed and vintage L Serie Recaro seats on OEM BMW sliders
The floor mounts are compatible with the aluminum raceseat sidemounts and the Recaro basemounts.

Wow, great stuff Lee! Any thoughts on a torque spec for the hat-to-rotor bolts? (I'm guessing around 25ft-lbs...?)
