Simply compare what you found online with Recaro's specs.

Here's a quick question to all of you who installed their adapters. Is the rake enough, or would you want a few degrees extra for even better comfort? I am on the verge of starting a new production and could very well make a change to improve the product.

      Keep the rake?
      Increase the rake?

      TIA

New batch of 25 sets is now available. The rake was kept as before. I made some pictures to show how easy the assembly can be. Left and right are similar, except for the inner rear mounting point where there's an extra thick aluminum shim to instal your belt latch.

Currently working on a similar set-up to fit any Recaro seat in 1967-1976 2002s.

You'll have to hit him up on E30Tech, Lee doesn't post here anymore.

For better authenticity, the bolts should be cadmium-plated, not zinc-plated.

You're a bit late to the party, Lee has been making these adapters for over 10 years.

Ah ah ah. Newbz !!! ;-)

Yes, these adapters have been selling for even more than 10 years and have become an "industry standard" when fitting Recaros in an e30. as for cadmium plating, it is basically no longer offered in North America as the process is too poisonous.

"For your information cadmium is not banned but it is controlled , if you want to do cadmium plating you have to take special permission and assure authorities for 100% proper disposal of waste water as per local norms. Cadmium plating is still specified by Government and Aircraft manufacturers."

Jordan said $60 for plating one load of bolts and nuts.

His bolts look very authentic compared to modern BMW bolts.
