Garagistic motometer e30 odometer gears -$25 shipped

Mine worked great. I had a really tough time getting the tiny gear on the motor shaft though. Actually blew out the plastic on the side of the motor. Oh well, seems to work fine. I'm not sure if I need to take it apart and re-clean everything again, but sometimes in the morning when it is cold, it takes a mile or two before it starts counting? Strange. Anyway, gears seem to work. Thanks!

Installed mine a couple hundred miles ago, the install was cake and the odometer works like a charm. I'm not sure how you'd hear any kind of noises from the gears, short of turning off the car & rolling downhill while pressing your ear on the cluster. I'd recommend this product to anyone of even remedial mechanical ability.
