    GB: Weighted Shift Collar

There are two different types that we can get. obviously the double one will be heavier. I'll get some prices up asap. It looks like they will be anywhere from $6-19 depending on the size. Let me know if you are interested in one and which one you want. (i'm just guessing but I think most people will want the heavier one :) )

Are these an OEM or aftermarket piece? Also, what are the respective weights of the 2? Do you have any experience with them and their effectiveness?

At any rate, I'm in for 99% for that price, pending some more info. Keep us posted.

        How heavy are they?

I'm down for the larger one. Should be nice with my Z4 3.0 lever.

I can get either steel, stainless steel, or cast iron. Even though you can't see it when installed, they will either be zinc coated or black.

Cast Iron would be pretty heavy, I vote for that one.

the only thing is the cast iron one is only available in the smaller one (not the double one) but it would be cheaper and heavy. So i'm thinkin maybe two of the little ones would be the same size as the bigger one and heavier. The double one is only steel and stainless steel.

The cast iron one is zinc-plated

I'm interested. Depends on their weight though.

                    Let us know! :)

Just post prices and weights of all of the combinations when you have them and I'll for sure buy one.

You clamp one to your shift lever above the fulcrum. It creates more momentum/intertia for the lever, thus less force needs to be applied by the user. It's the same principle as a heavy shift knob.

And, combine both...and you best be careful, cause you may break something down there. LOL

(Which is what I'll end up doing - I already have tons of solder wrapped around my shift lever, it's sweet! :))
