Grease boot? I installed my Z4 shifter in my car with no hassle. The only hard part was pulling the sucker off the shift linkage, but I'm a skinny ass bastard.

Of course it's going on. The only thing that's left is the deadline issue that I'm discussing with the store. You down for one?

By the wya.... there is a lot of pending interest here that I'd like to see confirmed. Anyone who's down please confirm it so I can add you to the list.

              Thanks,
              Erick

Maybe... I know USPS is a lot cheaper to Canada so I'll check with them. Shouldnt go over $10 in shipping.

                    Alright thanks.

Just comparing with the other famous OEM short shifters people have done:

Looks like it'll be quite more agressive than the z3 1.9 shifter.

Yes I agree. It does look so. The shifter is shorter than the Z4 lever, below the pivot ball.

Don't mean to derail your thread Erick, but that Z3 1.9 up there that says "Shortened 1 1/8th in", how did they do that? Pull off the shaft, cut it down, and re-mount?

I'd say cut off the measure, take it off and weld the rest together, but that would be one heck of a nice job.

That looks ridiculous though.... I think that would sit lower than the Z4 shifter that I have.

Not saying I'm going to do it, but IF I were to, I wouldn't take off nearly that much, maybe like 1/2-3/4".

For daily driving I suppose it's alright. Since the turbo car is basically a track car now, I was looking for something that would raise it up to the steering wheel for less hand movement in between shifts (from wheel-shifter-wheel)

This GB shifter is going on my daily m10.
