It will still work fine. I would just be wary of dealing with companies that lie about their product.

That is accually one of the main selling points for me. i would rather have a solid lever than the two piece lever connected with rubber (unless I had an s14 because they are notoriously buzzy).

Erick, can you add one more lever to my order? So, 2 levers total for me.
      Thanks.

If this will fit my e28 put me down for 2, if not, just one.

            It should fit.

If your e28 has an alluminum shift carrier, it should bolt right in. If it has a sheetmetal shift carrier, it is possable if you modify the bushings a little. I installed a z3 lever into an old '6 series with some modifications to get the bushings right.

I think a picture of the 'cnc' knob with a z4 3.0 knob would answer a shitload of questions.

I want to be helpful in this thread, but I'm not going through the hassle to remove the Z4 out of my turbo car just to make a comparison.

that's your call. I've never seen a shift lever job as a hassle, but oh well.

It's a bit more complicated than that... I have to take out the 318i from the jackstands... pull it out of the garage, push the turbo e30 in... and then remove it. (Working on cars is not allowed where I live, so it has to be done in the garage.... and the 318i is currently taking up that space)

Excuses, excuses.... w/e. I'll see what happens. If I can finish up the 318i tomorrow I'll try to get the Z4 shifter out.

Payment will be through paypal... I'm only waiting until the deadline (the following weekend... a week and 1/2 from now) so we can determine the final cost.

By the way, I have contacted the shop who sells these and they guarantee that these are CNC'ed, they were just chromed for a better finish. (Didnt understand why the looks of a shifter matters, but as long as it shifts, I'm happy)

What exactly is CNC and why would you want your shift lever to be such?

I'd really like to talk to somebody who has had one of these, before I commit. I couldn't take any rattling or buzzing.

Julian.... the price should be the same if not a bit more. I'm not sure if Fedex Ground would work in this case but if anything I"ll ship yours with USPS.

As for the GB... I got a message from the company telling me that they want to finalize this GB A.S.A.P. and since we hit 10 people, they'll just make it $38 for everyone that's in the GB and anyone else interested.

So the shifters would be $46 shipped for anyone in the continental US, and i would have to check out how shipping would work for the guys in Canada/Australia/Hawaii. Those guys I'll keep you updated.

The payment option is now open then. Anyone who's in the continental USA, please send $46 to fullopp@gmail.com. For those that ordered 2 shifters, please send $86 ( $76 for 2 shifters + $10 shipping ).

I will start having these shipped early next week.
