Hi Rob, please allow me a few days. I will look for a Kosei wheel around here and showw you pictures.
if you intend to race your e30 or attend DEs and really kick the shit out of your car, there is no subsitute of the Superlite calipers and race kit. e30s can take wheels with up to 15mm. That means that your K1 with et27 and 12mm spacer will clear the caliper, and the fenders.
Would it be possible to buy only the "hats" for 4 bolt e30?
EDIT: and do you sell to europe?
Hi Rocla. Yes, it is possible to buy only the Installation kit, which includes anodized hats, stainless steel adapters, custom 1/8NPT to Metric DOT compliant brakelines and all fasteners. I already shipped several kits to New-Zealand, Australia, Germany, Belgium and UK. Per exemple, shipping to UK is about 4 to 5 days and cost $95usd.
If you need a supplier for Wilwood parts, I can indicate which one most of my clients are using in the UK. Prices of the installation kits are in the first post. I am very open to a group buy if this is what members want THat will save money to everyone.
Okay. So here it is. I got a wheel profile from Team Dynamics for those who are interested in seing what the clearance is. The wheel is a TD Pro Race 1 with the Massive race kit. TD has a new wheel that superceeds the Pro Race 1, it is called the Pro Race 1.2 and shall offer the same clearance. I shall get their profile soon. If you race, this kit is perhaps the one that will give you the most stopping power, lap after lap.
I wouldn't want to give you guys false hopes, but the race kit requires wheels with a lot of room behind the spokes. You may want to test the profile of that kit against your wheel. But as a rule of thumb, you need at least 2.25" distance between the face of the hub and the inner face of the spokes. BTW - Fitting has nothing to do with wheel offset, just with how the wheels are designed. Anybody who really needs a race brake kit will buy the wheels to go with them. A member from this board has bought a race kit yesterday and will also buy some TD race wheels to fit the kit. And he will be a happy "camper" at track events.
Those of you who want to check their wheels' clearance, should email me to get the profiles in .pdf format. Print them and test against your wheels. The street kit will offer more room to fit more wheels, especially if susbtituting the Superlite caliper with the NDL caliper, which gives 5mm more clearance on each side, and a bit on the radius. The street kit uses a narrower rotor, which allows to tuck it in more inward (by 0.45" to be more precise). It still will not fit all wheels though.

I'd only interested buying hats since I have remanufactored e38 calipers, suiting adapters and hoses allready.

BMW 325i Cabriolet 2.5 m50 -88
BMW 316i touring 1.6 m40 -90
BMW 320i 4d 2,2 m54 -01
how many street sets using the NDL calipers do you have?
and with the NDL calipers, whats the minimum clearance from the hub to the spokes? does the measurement include the current 325 brake hubs in place or do i need to measure it with the brake hubs out?
Front M3 kit with Superlite calipers: $1200usd + pads
Installation kit only (no caliper or disc): $650usd
332mm x 32mm (13" x 1.25") two-piece rotors
Superlite Forged calipers
What wheels size is required to fit the 13" rotors?
Do you have any kits that will fit behind the factory 15" BBS?
