    BBS RM012 = FIT!!

*Actually its a very very close fit. From what i can tell with the template up against the wheel, there is about 1-2mm of space between the spokes and the caliper.

I know this is touched on a bit... but can you confirm that the brake bias will be addressed with this kit?

I'm def buying a set of these, just wish you would have the initial offer extended through Dec. But oh well i'll just pick them up at $660. Any chance of getting these in red? Hahah.. it will save me from painting them, which will be exactly what i'm going to do.

1 or 2mm is too close for comfort. I suggest you use 3mm spacers.
Brake bias is indeed addressed and will not affect the car's balance. Calipers have 1.38" pistons. These will only be offered with black anodizing.

Thanks for the info... I'll def picked up a pair of these in the next month or so. The only reason i wasnt goin BBK is b/c i didnt want to run huge spacers with my wheels... but i think i can live with 3mm. Haha... and looks like i'm painting these puppies.

Also, while most BMW discs have 7 to 7.5mm thickness in the hat where they mount on the hub, I double checked th VW rotors I had (Asian-made for testing) and found them to be at 5.5mm, which is 1.5mm to 2mm thinner than stock. Meaning that with "normal" brand name discs, the gap between the caliper and the backside of the wheel will be increased by 1.5 to 2mm.

It's not too late, obviously, but the special ends at the end of November.

This is a new kit and it will be offered on a regular basis. Massive will be able to offer a wide spectrum of kits for the e30: Street (280x22), Sport (300x21), Race (300x32), and rear Race (300x32). Plus four others for the M3.

I will work with my US distributor to work on shop price on that kit.

BTW For people who have enquired about a 4 pot caliper to upgrade the rear one, while keeping the stock rotor. Hmmm... Not physically possible. I must find a 280mm rear disc with a 160mm handbrake drum. I doubt it will come from a VW as they have very different rear set-ups. Basically, bearings are part of the rear discs.

I will be offering Hawk HPS pads. I have to investigate what other brands make a pad for that caliper. For the Superlite calipers, per exemple, every major manufacturer has pads. Performance Friction, Hawk, Ferrodo, Pagid, Carbotech etc.

BTW I already started production of the caliper adapters. They are machined from sturdy 1/2" thick steel plate, with all holes threaded for ease of installation (3/8" UNF and 12mm x 1.5), and then nickel plated. They are also engraved "Massive". Shop price will be available on orders of 5 complete kits which includes adapters, calipers, pads, machined rotors and hydraulic fittings. No shop price on individual orders, even you work in a shop.

The brackets are available separately for $160usd per set. Sorry, no shop price on those. They will be garanteed to fit with Wilwood's Dynapro calipers. If you decide to use another model, then you're on your own.

I will only supply Wilwood and Hawk pads. If you want other pads, then you may want to order them from other suppliers.

Here are the specs for the caliper. You can look up the pad shape and reference it thru other brake pad suppliers.

                                Thanks
