 I'd just like to thank you for spending your time on helping us out with this project.
i second that. thanks man, this is really cool of you! while it is cool, dont forget you will definately make some good money if you follow through with this, a lot of people will be interested in it. Keep up the good work! thanks again
Don't thank me too much yet! First I gotta produce!
I am ordering tools and material right now. I needed these:

and a bar of 6061, which I already have. I will check and see if I have enough stainless to make a first steel one too.

Wow I shoulda come to the classified section a long time ago! Glad I caught this before it was over or something...

Well I'll take one of the RK3 style knobs (page 4 prototype) in steel. I was thinking about painting mine diamantshwarz, but powdercoated black would be awesome, as long as I could paint it later.

Is it possible to have the tricolors in the top left? I'd pay for that.
        Reminiscing...

No stripes, sorry. I will put you on the list for a steel one. That drawing is not the one I am making first - I am doing the one in the most-recent perspective view.
I am happy to do a couple of styles as soon as I get a few protos done. Gimme a little while, I'll have pics soon.

You mentioned in another thread you can do a set of pedals for about 100$?

is this 4 pedals? dead pedal + clutch, brake, accel?

Also, will these have the rubber grips and what not? or can you just do the metal machining?

I can only do the machining, sorry. It doesn't sound like it'd be too hard to cut your own rubber from sheet and glue it on....

I will indeed do some pedals too. I won't be able to start on them until I make a couple of shifters, but that won't be too long. I'll draw something up soon for you to look at.

Im not sure what format the drawings from E-machine Shop use but I have tons of part ideas I have drawn in that program. Can you accept those?

I can read the DXF files that the emachineshop software can export, but not the regular file.

BTW, I am back from vacation, and I am ready to start making parts!

STATUS: fully programmed, but I have to get a stainless job off the lathe before I can start anything with aluminum. (we sell the chips, so I can't mix 'em.) It'll be a few more days, but that's all, I promise. I may be able to bring one home and take pics this weekend.

thanks for all the feedback and interest, it really keeps me going.

I will post photos and cad files for everyone. All that exists right now is the cnc program to make them...
