Is an et25 going to clear the strut?

Stock offset was et30 on 14" wheels and the wheel didn't rub the strut. Are you sure your wheels are et20?

14x6.5 et 30 has 9mm more inside clearance than a 8" wide et20, and 14mm more than 8" et25.

yup. i'm running e38 style 5 wheels with a 3mm spacer

i can always put the 5 lug wheel onto a regular e30 and just hold it there to see how much room we have at et20. Testing will be done. If we have to move towards et20 then we will.

Sounds good. It would suck to not be able to fit even a 225 width tire in the front

et28 would be about as good as it could get for us if its et25+/-3

that would work, but I just double checked the chart I made based off my car.. I could fit down to ET20 with a 225, just barely. it would probably fit about like the 235s do on my car though, with a pretty thin margin, but the rear seems to be harder than the front to me. ET28 would nearly center the tire between the rear fender and the front strut, but I don't think the RWD guys would be excited about that offset. If they were ET25 I'd have no problem with it. :)

Eddy....currently there are about 4 people interested in wheels and 1 or two more pending....how many wheels fit on a pallet? Could you investigate the cost of transporting 16-20 wheels to sydney. I or one of the Sydney guys (i think some are from sydney) could collect the bunch and then re-distribute across australia.

I'm still very keen but with the lack of interest hope is failing :(

there are many different sized pallets. 16-20 wheels could fit onto one for sure. I just have to give a shipper general dimensions and most of all an accurate weight. I will let you know how much this would cost. Do you have a city and postal code to ship to?

We have a lot of time left before this happens. It could still happen. It's not like it would happen faster if people signed up right away, since it can't ship before the other wheels are done anyway.

I was imagining a depot to depot service? Their Sydney depot is fine for me...as long as they allow pickup etc. Otherwise Buttaba, 2283, New South Wales, Asutralia
