      Great news. I got a more up to date time line back from the factory. they said that if everything goes well with the testing (to be completed by the 20th), wheels could arrive mid-late July. I thought it was going to be some time in August at this point, so that's good. This is dependent on when the final order is placed and how their production schedule looks. I can't place the final order until we get the groupbuy going, so I would like to officially start it tomorrow.

          Joining the GroupBuy:

          Because this is a GroupBuy and not a sale, people must contact me to join. Please PM, email, or call us at 925-413-6280. I will need to know what size, color, and quantity you would like.
          The preferred payment method for GroupBuys is via PayPal for buyer protection purposes due to the waiting period involved. We also accept credit cards directly, cash, and checks.

          Shipping Policy::

          Domestic buyers: Shipping will be handled by UPS within the United States. Tracking numbers will be provided. Free Shipping is for Domestic buyers only in the mainland 48 states. Wheels are double boxed for maximum price savings, and significantly more protection.

          International buyers: Contact me on an individual basis to determine the best shipping method for your destination in order to keep costs down. International shipments must be sent with full insurance, tracking, and correctly declared pricing if PayPal is used for payment. If you want to use any kind of method that does not provide full valued insurance or adequate tracking information then a certified check is required for payment with a 3-4 week clearing period. (There is plenty of time for checks to clear before the container arrives).

          Terms and conditions::

          Joining the Pre-order GroupBuy is not a partial deposit. It is a full prepayment of the wheels and any applicable shipping (identical to prior GroupBuy). Once a pre-order is placed it is non-refundable unless there is a substantial problem that ends the GroupBuy. Once payment is made, you will only have to wait for the short manufacturing and shipping time of approximately 2 months from when the GroupBuy closes.

                        I sent PM's out to a number of people reminding them of this GroupBuy.

                        AUSTRALIA CUSTOMERS!

                        I'm still unclear how people would like wheels shipped to Australia. There are a number of options. I don't know if everyone wants ocean freight but I will focus on that for these orders since we all know air mail can be used at a premium.

                        I'm going to come up with shipping estimates for single sets boxed/palletized shipped to Australia. This is ideal for remote customers.

                        I would also like to put together a quote for a number of sets shipping to one location where they could be picked up for further distributed using local shipping/transportation. To do this I NEED to know how many people we're looking at. It takes a lot of time to get accurate quotations for these shipments. The sooner we get this sorted out the sooner we can complete the groupbuy and save everyone a lot of money :D

                          Eddy there is also this option for aussie customers. Its a sweet deal if you ask me.

                          Found this topic in a Google search so it is my first post here.

                          Read your thread with interest and would be interested in assisting my fellow Aussies out while being a benefit to us as well.

                          We would be willing to ship these for $100/set to Bris/Syd/Melb/Freo whenever we have a container departing.

                          So you are getting a killer deal on shipping but you will have to wait for the next container. We ship more to Brisbane to anywhere and very few to Fremantle.

                          We have one heading to Fremantle in a few weeks, Sydney in 3-4 weeks, Brisbane in 2-3 weeks and Melbourne in 5-6 weeks.

                          They would be shipped to our location clearly marked with who they are going to and we will store/ship them as the container becomes available.

                          We can also do this for other parts that you need in the USA that are not cost effective to post. Be aware that once something goes into a container it becomes "commercial goods" and even if it is under the usual point that they charge duties/GST on items that go regular mail/courier all items in the container are charged duty/GST.

                          Free Trade Agreement is a more for large companies that have a lot to loose paying duties. To claim AFTA you have to supply a letter form the manufacturer that, not only were the goods made in the USA but all the materials used to make the goods were made in the USA. So if it made of iron for instance you need to be able to prove that it was mined and processed in the USA.

                          Cheers
                          - Chris

                            Well I'm a definate, so once we can figure out which shipping option is best for the aussies I am able to pay in full.

                            I swung a quick email at the site (USAtoAUS.com) to see if they were still interested in helping us out so we'll see how that goes.

                            Also you other aussie fellas lets get our shit together! every second we waste the US dollar goes up in value!
