    PSA: Scam alert, user "Hemp"

Put a WTB, and the user "Hemp" sent a PM. Something seemed fishy, and my instinct was right.

I googled the number he provided, and it led to a bunch of other forums where he's tried the same thing. Moderators please ban.

I got the same response to my WTB. Phone number search reveals a history of scamming.

Dang, wish I saw this sooner. I've already emailed Mr3v privately. Are they hacking info or anything?

Edit, I've been gotten by 3.

Did you send them any money? May be able to file a claim with PayPal or your credit card.

                  Sticky topic in WTB section:

Generally I recommend having at least a brief conversation with the seller over PMs about the parts and/or their car. It's usually pretty apparent when they are just a scammer and not a fellow enthusiast.
Following this advice I've bought many parts on forums throughout the years and have never been outright scammed.

I was surprised how many people reached out so quickly as soon as I posted in the WTB section.
