Will you confirm or deny that you received a refund for him one more time? Tom told me last night in person that he refunded you what you paid less shipping. If he's lying, that's not cool as he and I are good friends. If not, well, you have some explaining to do... Oh, and he told me it was NOT the bumper off the purple car, that DID in fact go to the crusher. He purchased two bumpers over the last two years since he built the silver car, and sold you the one that was less than perfect. Just to clarify that minor, rather insignificant point.

I DID NOT RECIEVE ANY REFUND FROM TOM AT ALL!!!!

And the bumper be sold and sent to me did come off the purple car..
I know 110% for sure it did.

Pic of this bumper on his car. See that dent right in the center? If you look to the left you can also see a slight bump in the bumper. If you look in my pics you can see that same bump in front of my left knee in my photos.

Well yup, This bumper had the SAME dent and fit exactly the same on my car as it did in his photos.

So whatever your friend Tom told you was a complete lie. Simple as that.

I saw this bumper in person too and also found it appears to be the same bumper in the pic of Tom's car posted above. Really sucks that he did this then can't man up and make it right. Tho he obviously is telling all his friends he did.

I was the forum member that bought the bits from White325is. I won't say what I paid for and what I got, out of respect to the involved parties, but I will say that from my end it seemed as if White325is made every attempt to get this issue resolved before he would sell the parts to me. From the time I made the offer (at the very beginning of this thread) to the time he agreed to the deal (several weeks later), White325is delayed a final disposition until he was satisfied that he was legally and ethicly able to sell me the parts. White325is is kewl in my book.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate it. I did not want to sell the parts at the time till it was all taken care of between Tom and I, But I had no choice. one person needed parts and I needed to jump on another bumper that popped up FS.

Not that it really matters now, but how come you didn't just replace that damaged section instead of selling it and buying another bumper? That center section is available new for roughly $120

Because not just the center section had damage. Rainer bought some of the pieces that was actually usable and the rest was tossed in the trash.
