how about you research the cost of the all the parts it takes to rebuild a motor and go from there.

and if you have to ask, you cant afford it.

You would get a better understanding of what we "went through" by researching everything you need and making a list of the endless websites you have to go to and compiling a price and then figuring out whether it is more time to cost effective instead of just asking for a price. We go through hell to do research. You want to know what we go through, then start researching. Plus everyone puts different add ons and what not to their motors so giving an average price is almost impossible.

ill take that fair enough, ive done a bit of research but probably not nearly as much as you guys. im just not too knowledgable about 24v swaps compared to 12v rebuilds. is there anywhere else i could look too besides the forums to get some extra knowledge?

It really all depends. If you haven't done it before, best advice I can give is buy a complete running motor. It will save you many headaches, especially when it comes to trouble shooting the motor to make it run.
