I saw that actually, it was for E30 325i's and if I'm not mistaken they are different from the E36 exhausts.

Mike, a friend of mine may still be a vendor for Stromung, so I'm going to try and go through him first to see if something could be done :)

Where are you going to dyno the car?

Since they are custom made, maybe they can make one for your app? I know the guy who is organizing the GB (Robert/Peerless)... lemme know if you want me to ask him on your behalf.

The dyno: Argh! In order to not slander a parts vendor, I am waiting for resolution prior to posting the particulars. It is not TNG that is to blame for the issue - Armen, John, Josh and Matt did a great job with the swap.

haha, think he was talking to me. Don't know 100% yet, have to make some phone calls tomorrow (even though I've been without my personal phone going on two weeks now). Been asking around, found one local that is at a paving company. The owner is just a car enthusiast and happens to have a dyno that he runs dyno days at. Was going to call him, but was hoping to come across someone that actually does it for a living. Don't know how important the operator is when assessing a/f ratio's.

Oh thats right, I forgot that Peerless started it over on E30tech! I'm curious about cost, if you could shoot him a PM to find out if it possible to get E30 fitment but E36 diameters and of course the price that would be awesome!

I'm still waiting on your dyno anyway :) Curious to see what kind of numbers your car will put down when its finished.

Let me know if you find something, I want to get my car dyno'ed eventually because I'm curious what kind of power my combo makes. I'm also pretty sure that an experienced operator is much better at reading a/f ratio's.

Yeh werd, I want to see if I can get something with better fitment, if anything I may even make my own catback with a friend of mine.

It went from not as loud, to intermittent, to non-existent. The noise ceased thankfully after some driving. My thoery is whatever was rubbing finally rubbed enough to get enough clearance as it should have had from the get. Probably not the best way to go about things but I'm not going to worry about it now that it's gone, going to try to hash out this vacuum leak tomorrow. Just picked up some starter fluid tonight.

Nice, not too far. I'll try to give them a call to set something up soon. Exciting to know it sounds like they know what they're doing! Just want to make sure these a/f graphs are on point.

Look what I found yesterday! It's a vid from when my car did the dyno pulls that I've mentioned before (think in this thread, if not - 261/231 at the wheels untuned).

Haven't touched the car lately, it's been sitting since just before xmas. Need to get back to work on it.

Anyway, here is the vid. Sounds much better in person esp now that exhuast is broken in - but it was pretty damn loud. It surprised me as I had never heard it under load from outside my car. Don't think the vid does it justice but enough blah blah.

1st pull seems short because it was in 3rd. 2nd pull in 4th. No I did not tell them it was an m3 and no I did not make that comment and yes engine bay needs cleaning up :)

the yellow vette in the other vids is my buddy's c6.. sick.
