I work at Redner's in palmer by stones crossing (by autosound +, Rita's and Bar Don Lanes. If you saw my e30 you would know, blue front end, delphin rear, black MT2, flat black hood/trunk, smileys, euro grills. hard to miss.
I work in allentown so I'm rarely around easton during the day - and I live in the other side of palmer so I'm never that way.

Had it waiting for me today when I got home from work. With the help of a buddy it's already installed waiting for dennis' lines/resevoir to arrive! ;)

got the 5-lug done today. Was surprised at how loose/not-snug the thr lollipops are. Also got the brake booster in. Now just need to replace the windshield wiper motor, and finish the waiting game (should be friday) for the rest of my motor/accessory parts to arrive to prep the motor for drop in.

wiper motor, finish little bs motor assembly, drop in/remove, make room for firewall/subframe for headers, do wiring!

list is getting shorter and shorter

2 wks is the goal for my bday weekend. Gonna try and start the wiring on my parts waiting down time...

Yes, with stock spacer and i'll most likely be using a remote resevoir. We'll find out what the clearance issues/non-issues are later :-/

slight dilemma: Hoping to bring the car from the garage to the house today to get some motor droppage done. Only issue is moving the car around. When installing the brand new rotors and brakes, the front were an ABSOLUTE BEAR to get on. Just seemed like no matter how much we compressed the piston back into the caliper, there was just not enough space between the pads to accomidate the massive brand new zimmerman rotor and THICK juird pads. Anyone else ever have an issue with this combo of pad/rotor?

My dad thinks my buddy and I did something wrong or that something isn't right, esp after I told him we had to hammer the back of the caliper to get it on, and that it's so tight we can't rotate either front wheel. I'm beginning to think I may have messed up the front caliper rebuilds, but I dont see how I could have possibly gotten it wrong. There's nothing to it.

It just seemed like if we had just one more mm of space it would have slid on snuggly...

Again, anyone ever have this issue?

This may be a retarded question/solution, but: did you tighten the allen screw before trying to position the caliper? If so, try screwing it on after...

Ended up taking the one noise/vibration damper pad thing off the back of one of the pads and they slid on just fine. I also check the pistons they are now ok. The pass side leaked a little bit, upon disassembmy I noticed a notch missing in the new gasket that lines the inside of the caliper. Looked like a manufacturing defect, so I replaced it with one of the old gaskets and seems like it's good to go now.

Euro s50 midsection came in yesterday, ITS HUGE!!! Hopefully I can fit it and tuck it under the car nicely. My buddy brandon thinks its going to be too low. We'll see. Should sound and flow great :)

I think thats the same midsection Vlad has on his DTM car and it is low, but Im sure you will be careful with it.

ah, hopefully it's not too low. the cats are huge and bulbous! but it's not just the cats, the entire piping is huge. we'll see how well it can be tucked. Going to try and bring the car home today to fit the motor with the headers.

                            HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! :drink:
