    I bought my hoist used for $80 off craigslist. Harbor Freight has em pretty cheap too if you want new. (that's where I got my stand from)

    I'll probably try to get it pulled next week. I need to buy an engine hoist as the one I was borrowing from my buddy was a piece of junk.

    Back pressure is never a good thing, its exhaust velocity that helps with scavenging. Big exhausts lower exhaust gas velocity thats why they can lose power at low rpm.

    Don't the last Gen Camaro guys run a single 3"? With a fucking 350 V8? How a 3" could be a good thing on a Honda 4 banger I have no idea, even FI on a 2.0L a 3" sounds too big.

    Does the term "exhaust scavenging" ring a bell? If not, you should do some reading.

    fwiw, I would guarantee more TQ loss than hp gain in the said setup going with a wider diameter. Not claiming to be a physics whiz, just sayin.

    Of course there are. But there are also the guys running full 3" exhausts for a 160whp B18C1 (I knew one of them).
