No, definitly not too small. Anything more than that will create backpressure.

People run larger diameter piping than that in the Honda scene for N/A.
People do alot of retarded things

Great numbers, Id love to see this car in action. To be honest, Im not sure Id want much more power than that. I recently tore into a turbo S52'd M3 wihich put down around 350hp. i was scared of it, too much unusable power.

Your exhaust seems like it's on the small side... Stock e36 M3 is dual 2.25", isn't it? I'm running full dual 60mm more or less - Headers end in 60mm piping, then dual 2.5" center section, then UUC System U - dual 60mm. A single 2.5" exhaust doesn't seem like it would flow nearly enough - People run larger diameter piping than that in the Honda scene for N/A. My friend's S2k runs a J's Racing 70RR, which is a 70mm headerback - 70mm is just over 2.75".

Polak, I weighed my car - 2540 with no driver and a half tank!

what they said. the graph looks great, especially HP in high RPMs. gotta love that big flat torque line too. im hoping for just 215whp or so with my bored/rebuilt 3 liter, but numbers dont really matter much anyway. good to see youve finished up, i bet that shit is a blast!

Congrats. I would/will be satisfied if I get similar numbers.

Maybe I mis-read the posts. It seemed as though people thought it made more than usual.

I do agree the power he made is healthy for an S52. :)

Maybe I misunderstood your comment ;) Are you wondering why people are congratulating him on his dyno numbers? For me, I think it's cool that his engine is making the numbers a healthy S52 should. So many risks involved with buying a used engine, yeah know?

Z31 has a nice torque curve and the power is really good from 5000-6600, and probably flatlines to 7000 (what you don't see on the plot).
yep - area under the curve > peak numbers

Depending on the milage, yes. Your S50 made relatively high numbers for what you had done to it. Most of the ones posted on BFC coincide with Buddy's numbers. I put down 235whp/229wtq with my custom dyno tune from RMS. With the TMS tune and the same mods I only put down 227whp/222wtq on the same dyno, but the AFRs weren't as nice.

Yeah, I would say that the numbers are pretty good either way.

Yup, the TRM chip redlines at 7100. But I felt no need to bang the engine off the limiter a few times for the sake of a few hundred extra RPM on the plot.

I was thinking the same thing.

I dyno'd 2ish weeks ago with my S50, with headers, exhaust, intake, and a Dinan chip. I made 232.9hp and 206ft-lbs.

I also haven't changed the plugs or coil-packs in 4ish years, have never touched the injectors, or the maf.

I do enjoy every one of those ponies, as I'm sure the OP does as well. They are fun.
