im wondering if dirty or leaky injectors are causing the condition, since there was bad gas in tank

If it idels fine then it's not mechanical. It has to be something electrical. So u can rule out gas and injectors. I suespec timing... Or related to it. Check your cam position sensor and or tps.

Please understand I have NO knowledge on BMW engines but if there anything like te rest it's the same. Giving I know that they don't use map sensors instead the use maf's.

but i have NO Check Engine Light,so I would think if it were a cam/crank sensor the light would at least "blink"

not always. Test them with a multimeter.

Kind of sounds like your o2 sensor is fine until it heats up, causing it to go open. Sending the ECU bad signals

If it's a cloged cat it would turn red from heat when pressing the gas. Giving the symptoms it's unlikey that's the problem. 02 maybe on bmw's a honda would run on a safe map "limp mode" fine.

It sounds like it is dropping spark. You could have a coil shorting out when it gets warm. Try changing the coils one at a time with a known good.
