Anyone running a RMS S/C on a swap car?

OK so I think I put about 100 miles on my S52 swap before it went into hibernation, I just bought a RMS stg 2 SC for it w/ some upgrades to get it around 400 whp. So does anyone here have a RMS setup on thier E30 and what issues as far as plumbing and custom little tings did you need to do. Any pics?

OK, yes I know a twin screw is better but at 3x the cost of my rms stg 2 and not much more HP (yes TS is a more liear constant) I couldnt justify it.

The ABS might be problematic and you may have to fabricate or modify the intake pipe. I would check out pictures of Jordan's setup.

Yeah the ABS may get in the way and I may have to relocate the coolant overflow to the massenger firewall. Pobably have to go custom intake instead of the RMS thermoplasic so I can route it where it needs to be. Should be interesting cramming all this in a E30 bay with aftercooler, heatexchanger etc. I am sure it will be worth it though.

            Devil's advocate...

The Eurosport setup will fit almost as easy as stock. Obviously it will be a bitch and a half to work on in the engine bay, but it will fit better...

Also, where are you getting an RMS kit for 2800 dollars?

true replacing the mani and all is easier but as I said price is a big issue. I bought the kit 2nd hand w/ 5K on it.

I have an RMS set up. Search my daily driver thread and you will see pics and all my info. I highly recommend a CF for the E30. The power comes on very smooth and facilitates traction. I put down 450whp and the car is pretty nasty. I am shooting for 500whp, hopefully will put down a bit over 500 when it is all said and done.

What do you base this on? There are plenty of RMS stage 2, 2+ making well over 400whp/350wtq. Where are the 400whp TS?

higher whp != better. Compare the torque curves of both stock kits. The Eurosport blows any CF blower out of the water.

There are many of the TS kits making over 400whp with mods, just like your kit is making over 400whp with mods.

We built about 10 of them.

There's a guy on BFC who's been making over that since 2007. What the hell are you talking about?

Head work and a schrick exhaust cam will do the deal.
