    I bet you could get more scavenging by installing a little triangular point at the center of those asian headers. You should be able to source such a thing at coneeng.com.

        yeah, that's how RD headers were built. It's certainly better than the straight cut. or you could cut the collectors off, buy some nice merges and weld them on.. but the merges would probably cost 3x more than the headers :p
