As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man. -
I apparently didn't have to clock them, as other forum members have used them without problems. I just didn't like the look of the bend that would have to be made to clear the sway bar and subframe.
They are made of stainless. I welded them with a TIG. And yes, all i did was cut and clock them, if i had to guess, about 30-40 degrees counterclockwise if you are looking at the flange.-DanComment

I agree. They don't look like the Ebay specials. The 3-1 merge on the Ebay rep headers is much further down the line near the firewall if not right at it. Those look like they'd clear well in an E30, FWIW.Those look like Genie headers to me.

I just started fitting up my exhaust this past weekend and the obd2 headers mate up with the obd1 mid-section with out any modifications. I just had to lift the engine slightly to mate them up. They cleared the subframe by about 0.25".I apparently didn't have to clock them, as other forum members have used them without problems. ebay headers tend to have crappy collectors and primaries that are too short (and probably too big), but they're cheap and shiney so everyone buys them.Comment

of course they do, all OE manifolds have junky collectors. But at least they're cheap/stock, and they fit. :pComment
