    mine's always been covered in oil and grime. My oil leaks are actually for underbody rust protection. :p

    they also make this stuff called degreaser.

      Well if I had room to get a spray can of degreaser in there, I'd probably have no trouble getting the bitch clip out ;)

      Generally it's only a bitch when the driveshaft and exhaust are still in place.

        I wouldn't even bother doing it with the exhaust in the way, although the stock exhaust flanges suck ass to take apart. V-bands FTW.

          Yup, all the more reason to upgrade to a lightweight single pipe exhaust with a 3 bolt flange or v-band flange. Then you can even remove the driveshaft without touching the exhaust if you do it right.
