How long can you drive with just headers?

I drove mine about 5 miles to have my exhaust done. It was pretty damn loud. But other than the chances of burning an exhaust valve, you won't really hurt anything.Comment

Cool. I've had them do 2 or 3 full exhausts for me, I live 5 minutes away. The only thing that sucks is that they do not know how to, or maybe don't care to, design a good flowing exhaust. They don't mandrel bend, and don't take great care when joining pipes. They made a Y-pipe for me when making my header back exhaust, and it was horrendous inside, the exhaust gas in my 2.5" pipes had an oblong 1" hole to squeeze through. I had to use an angle grinder and dremel to open it up.
Can't beat the price though! Labor for my full header-back exhaust, not including materials, was $70. They charged my $70 for stainless piping, and I provided my own cat and muffler.Comment
