Final questions for M50 - HELP!

Alright I have 5 last questions. These are noob questions, but I rather ask than mess something up. I promised this car would be running before christmas :eeek: I read all the threads, but still can't find this. The info I do find is not always clear, often contradicting.

    1. I had a M50 NV out of an Automatic. This is for the automatic computer. Can I cut it?

    2. This wire that goes to the fusebox, I am connecting it directly to the + battery terminal. Is that right?

    3. Polarity is right? The + will come from the battery, and the ground will be from the frame.

    4. I was told to go to the white wire on the C104. This is the C104? It has wires: white/yellow, green, and black.

    5. Help me sort out these hoses.

I know B goes to the spider coolant hose.

my harness wasnt from an automatic so I cant tell you much about the wiring.

C- goes to charcoal can with evap valve. there is a connector that should connect to the evap valve.

    D, E are fuel hoses.

i thought the power block was all +12v...

whenever I wasnt sure about the wires in that area, i cut back the sleeve to check the wire color. all Red wires go to power block, all brown go to ground.

I have some blacks that are power, be careful with the black/red generalization of ground/power.

Middle line goes to Fuel filter -> then to E

Top fuel hose connects to D.

          Correctamundo?

Yes, you can cut the auto connector off and ALL of it's wires back as needed. Take your time and follow each one to make the harness nice and slim

                You're keeping the charcoal canister?

One side (large) of the charcoal canister goes to the fuel tank, the other side (small) to the pressure valve and then to 'C' on your picture.

Both A and B are for coolant circulation to the throttle body, one is in the other is out. I have that circuit deleted since it's not really needed unless you are driving in sub-zero temperatures.

Well, in a thread I read, people say to just keep it. I have mixed info on this one. I guess i wont use it, what do I do with the hardline from the fuel tank?

The line with the fuel filter goes to D.

                      E is your return line.

                        Are you sure?

E goes to the fuel rail, but seems to have a fuel regulator. For this reason, I assumed it was NOT the return line. It is the one towards the BACK of the engine.

Here is a better picture of D and E.

E is return. D is supply. The return always comes off the fuel pressure regulator.
