As for my impressions, I very much like it. I can't really give that great of an impression of it since I never drove the car with the M50 and any other intake, but I will say it gives a very nice growl and it gives the engine bay a VERY clean and professional look. I'm very happy with the product, the fitment and quality are top notch. The price is a bit steep, but that is to be expected with a low-production item like this. I would say it's definitely a great product, I can't really speak to the difference it makes versus any other kind of intake, but I will say that I'm very happy with my choice to go with the Castros box.
Glad you like the product, your engine bay looks great!

exactly what I said when I melted my homemade unit. I've been talking to E30Polak and he has done nothing but reaffirm the desire to add this unit to my car!

    More pircs:

S14/M42 radiator old "massive"version (gap by the headlight on the lid has been filled on updated version, and it is not as large for swap cars):

    M20 Coolant reservoir box:

Pics of the M20 Coolant reservoir box with the top off.

(Note: this was the original box, cracks seen were caused by weaker/poorer quality material. Newer versions don't experience the same issues)

Pics from the front of the car, with the headlights removed to show ABS clearance.

Im using the KA intake. Carbon fiber heat shield and the build quality is great. I recommend it, plus you cant beat the price

I don't think the thickness I got will hold up to your track days....you may want to go thicker.
