        No! wrong bore size!

I was up above it, Now I'm down in it ~ Entropy - A Build thread.

Should have been the m54 crankshaft I believe. Nice ingenuity and thanks for posting. Sure you could have went all out and replaced everything new, but I for one will be very interested to see how long this contraption last and what kind of numbers you get out of it. I give you and A for going against the grain and doing something different.

You definitely put on a display that would be hard to match.

Stroking an M50 is not a new idea. Go have a look around bf.c. Specifically, go find the build thread of a guy named sigma. Or just go here http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1128209

If the "first ever" part your claiming is the GM auto trans, congrats.

Really? Using silicone for gaskets and reusing 220,000 mile rod bearings? I don't associate "good information" with using silicone for gaskets and reusing bearings.

Call me an arrogant, you seem to like that word a lot, but I don't see this engine lasting very long.

I've rebuilt an m42 using all ultra-grey, zero leaks. However reusing 220K mile bearings and rings seems more cheap and lazy than thrifty.

                        ^+2, fuck paper gaskets.

                        But reusing rings/bearings? Meh..

                        Nice work!
