24V with M20 clutch

I am swapping an OBD1 S52 and retaining the stock M20 flywheel with the G260. What kind of M20 clutch should i use?

I shredded my stock clutch. I recommend the Clutchmaster FX100 as a minimum.

Which Sach's clutch kit are you running? I need one and I'm not sure which one to go with. This would be for a S52 with a M20 flywheel and G260. I'm mostly going to be using it for street use and the occasional auto-x/track day.

I used an m20 clutch but I get definite flywheel vibrations since the flywheel isn't balanced to the engine. It isn't that bad, but still noticeable.

You say "for a long time" which makes me assume you've replaced it. What did you replace it with?

I've had a "performance" m20 clutch from a local guy (Clutch Specialty) with a Sachs heavy duty pp on my m52 for about 8 months. Works great, revs nice. Grabs real hard, no slip.

I guess what I'm asking is what a decent streetable upgrade is to the OEM clutch kit. Since I'm in the middle of my swap I might as well put a new clutch in there to replace my still good (but may possibly have 166K miles on it) OEM clutch. It's another, "while I'm in there" replacements.

Wow what kind of vibrations? Feel like a normal M20 crap at stop light?

yeah something like that, but it spans throughout the lower rpm range. Really hits around 2600-3000rpm. But I plan on tearing the motor down someday anyway and doing a turbo build with a complete overhaul.

F1 racing stage 2 clutch. 180 shipped. Get them on eBay from the seller project gtr. Very streetable and some room for upgrades.

I just went to the local place that does clutches/linings for semi's etc, and said I need this clutch/pp to hold this much tq and be streetable.

Including lightening and resurfacing, clutch/pp/TO/alignment tool, was like $250 out the door.
