Im not saying 3 inch is the best size for an m20 ..but still...wow.I love sitting down and just driving!Comment

add another muffler and a cat, it becomes quiet enough to be streetable.Comment

but why add all that?...its really not needed. Why build a custom set up full of mufflers?.
I ran an m20 w/ hi flow MF cat and a borla turbo rear in a 2.5 single system. it was fine...sedate. , until wot........I now run same system on an s50..ditto.I love sitting down and just driving!Comment

why not? I don't want a loud exhaust. I'm in my 30s with two kids. I had a loud car when I was 19, it sucked.
intake sounds are much, much nicer than exhaust. especially BMW 6s, which mostly sound like ass anyway.Comment

btw..I just put a 2 inch glass pack( and removed the oe muffler) on a dual webered 02....after 1 hr Im just about deaf....lol..but I love the over run....I love sitting down and just driving!Comment

stock is restrictive and heavy. My engine isn't stock. and it's about to get a whole lot less stock. :)
3" with adequate muffling is high flow, lightweight and quiet. perfect :)Comment

Hey Nando, what would you recommend as a centre muffler on a 3" system to quieten down an s52?
I currently have a resonator and straight through muffler and no cat installed and the drone gets to me a bit.
