    Working OBD2 CCV on 24v swap

      Did you have to do anything to make that OB2 dipstick fit in the e34 oil pan?

              I did the this by grafting onto the e34 dipstick. It works well for the most part, but has a known issue of grenading the engine in cold temperatures. The CCV will freeze causing the engine to suck oil out of the pan directly into the intake.

                  Yeah I'm in Atlanta and the car stays in the garage so it wouldn't be too much of an issue for me. I'm not getting much blow-by right now but if and when I do I will probably go a different route and use one of the air oil seperators that some of the track guys use.

                      I run this on all OBD2 cars, The OBD1 system is garbage and you get oil pooling in the intake manifold and running a open CCV is a bad idea as well.

                      As far as it freezing goes, IIRC that is isolated to E46's.

                                  Instead of using the factory OBD2 VC hose youd just have to make one. Thats the only difference
