So i currently have no power going to ICV, no power going to K5 relay, as well as a few other problems. I got my adapter from Erick. I dont know if he is the one you guys are tlaking about, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Its na NVM50 and it sounds like i am having the same issue you were. I am going to tap and add another ICV plug into the harness this weekend, to double check its the one that is

    Yellow/white:red/white:green/white

right? cause I need to get the car running. 328ijunkie if you want to pm me the info instead of post onhere thats fine too, i am just looking for some help.

I only bought the harness to save time on the swap. turned out to be a bit of a mistake.

i made a couple adapters back in the day before people wanted to send me harnesses. the one i did for Swords, word on the street is the VSS isnt hooked up. his being my first obd2 harness (not that much is different) i was 99% sure that it was ok what did i miss? in my excel i have the VSS labeled... then again he did nearly burn down his harness by plugging the wrong relay in the wrong hole >.<

I PMed the seller of my faulty adapter. I'm interested in seeing what he says.

I would recommend that anyone else interested in doing a 24v swap either hardwire their harness or buy an adapter from a reputable source.

Thanks again for the help Dave!

Amazingly enough, the person in question is selling another swapped car right now on the puget sound bmw cca forum.

I will have a go at anything, building engines, painting, ANYTHING to do with my cars except wiring.

I have worn "Electricians Aftershave" (aka the smell of burning wires) in the past, am not confident enough with a multimeter so this is one area I have no shame in paying someone.

yes. I used 1,100 vampire taps to wire my S54+ standalone. lol

can you give me a discount on it, like if I supply my own superglue and duck brand duct tape?
