I don't get it what is so hard about making your own hardwired harness?
1) Read the etm for the e30 you are swapping to starting at the power distribution section and take notes of every time you see the c101 connector and which pin number, where the wire goes to at both ends and its color. write it down on a spreadsheet type chart.
2) Read the etm for the engine harness you are using and do the above.
3) Make a comparison chart for the x20-c101
4) Use a multimeter set to continuity beep or a test light to verify your pinout charts i.e. x6000 pin x goes to pin x on x connector, check it with meter meter beeps you were right.
It is seriously that easy people. I would say I had six hours into my harness first time around and that includes hard wiring the plug with new pins, no butt splices!
