How are you wiring in your ABS...late model.

Yes, I know its pin #20, yellow/red, and it needs 12V power.

But were are you guys tapping into the harness?

    Cheers!

Do this at the c101. Need to look at my charts. No need to hack into anything.

So are you saying connect pin 20 from the c101 to pin 6 on the x20? My notes read that that is the climate regulation control.

I have read that I should tap into the main relay to get the 12v source.

No, pin 6 of the c101 to 20 of the c101. Way simpler than the hack way - you dont want the ecu controlling power to your brakes!

Ok, so pin 20 will share pin 6 to pin 22 on the x20. Yes?

So you're just jumping pin 6 c101 to pin 20 c101? Hmm...I never thought of that. Sounds so much simpler than wiring switched 12v from another source to the x20 and not having it looked rigged/be kind of sketchy. That was the next headache on my list I wanted to get rid of.

I guess I need to look up my wiring diagrams again and see what color wire pin 6 and pin 20 are since my harness is wired into x20. Time to unwrap my nice cloth tape. :(

For some reason, the solution above ain't working. Does it need to cycle a few times like the oil level sensor before clearing the antilock brake light?

No. Should be immediate. Check that stupid little wire that breaks all the time in the ABS relay.
