Unfortunately, that is how it goes sometimes. Sucks.

Totally up to you. Personally, I'd still do it with the engine in the car, but thats me. Either way, good luck. Interested to see what you do with your exhaust. Mine is currently in the making.

Yep, doing all 3 of those things comfortably while the engine hangs from the hoist is well worth the few hours it will take to pull the motor.

I HATE doing all that shit on my back, upside-down under the car!

I hear you josh! I think that's part of getting old. I wouldn't even consider doing some of the stuff with jackstands on a gravel lot that I did 5-6 years ago..

what are you doing to the exhaust?

Totally redoing it, a friend and I are going to build one custom. I'm basically copying E30Polak's design that he had on his S50 car. Mine is way too loud, too big of pipes, and sounds like ass, I HATE it. Not to mention, it hangs to damn low. We're going to tuck it up as high as possible, using a Borla ProXS up front and a Vibrant at the rear, and going with 2.25 or 2.50" pipe instead of the 3" I have in there now.
