Audi Slim fan blows wrong way!

Saw some people using the slim Audi fan for the 24v swaps to keep the clutched fan. I went and bought one to try it, but it blows towards the radiator.

Did I get the wrong one?

Do you have the part number for this fan?

Yep also might have to flip the blades around. Generally you need to do both.

Clutch fan doesn't have polarity, and flipping it over has the same result, it needs to rotate counterclock wise.

I will find the part number, but it's the fan others are using here.

I had gotten the same one as well, it was in a thread about cooling issues, if it spun to the right it would work. I threw away $17 just like that. Is this the one you saw?

That's the one. Is there two versions of it?

I have no clue, but just by looking at his im wondering how he doesnt overheat by having the fan not pull anything. Unless he has an engine that spins the other way?

im using the same fan, it does not work! my car over heats in slow traffic, fan is too small and doesnt blow enough air to cool motor...Audi fan does not work! i installed stock m20 fan/clutch and cools car nicely.
