Well I have poly trans mounts and if the tranny does decide to move upwards on bumps or what not, the DSSR will move with the driveshaft since they both on the tranny right? The spacing is limited but it does clear when shifting and with the drive shaft turning. -
You don't think you'll ever have contact on bumps or anything? Just trying to get a feel how much room there isLeave a comment:

With the new Z3 1.9 shifter, the DSSR clears the guibo by a few millimeters but thankfully it does the job. Sadly the throws are not as short as the Z3M shifter but hey, can't have everythingLeave a comment:

What's this ERK? It moves the ball further up?
Edit: whoops, I have an ERK piece as I'm using the Evo3-- still doesn't seem high enough though :sLeave a comment:

its not the Lever the problem, it was the UUC DSSR that was forced to be slanted downwards because of the length that the Z3M lever has after the ball. The DSSR was hitting the guibo which didn't allow it to turn at allLeave a comment:

I'm running the z3m with the ZF. It was necessary to shave a few MM from the bottom of the lever to clear the driveshaft.Leave a comment:

the 1.9 works, as its what i have ran on all 4 dohc/zf swapped cars i have had. the first time i ordered one, i got the z4m one and it would not clear the guibo.Leave a comment:

I think your selector rod is too short.. With my 198mm the selector falls perfectly in line with the carrier arm. Well I ordered a z3 1.9 this morning. Should be getting it tomorrow. Fingers crossed that it works out for meLeave a comment:

^if that is neutral then your linkage is too short instead of long.Leave a comment:
