My swap M50NV+S50 cams+M52 vanos......

Hello All
I will start my swap history and will update later.
I'm starting with a 1992 M50NV with 130k and will be adding Vanos from a 1996 328i and S50 cams and 328i/M3pink injectors. To tune it i'm thinkig a TMS chip. If anyone has any more idea on the chip i will appretiate.

I think you may have problems with the crank position sensor setup that comes with M50 NV. I haven't tried myself so I'm not 100%, but recently I read that it is different from the M50 Vanos crank position sensor. Which may or may not work with the 413 DME. I was going to get the M50 Vanos cam sensor and try it on my M50NV and run a 413 DME so I can get a turbo tune and run a better MAF but I still haven't done it yet.

Installed the S50 cams and the M52 Vanos on my M50NV.
We dremell the one side to fit the bolt and expanded the side to make sure that oil return had a way to do so.

NV lifters are larger diameter compared to vanos lifters; the cams and trays from a Vanos engine have to be installed to convert to Vanos.

All are S50's Trays,cams and lifters like Wanganstyle says
