Awesome build! I just used dual intake cams on my NV to wake it up some
I was evaluating such solution. However i decided to go S50 cams and vanos to take advantage of the lower end torque for daily drive plus I'm getting a TRM chip off the shelf for $350 which only will work with a vanos engine and S50 cam set up. So if everything goes well I'm expecting a 205 hp engine approximately; until i do a dyno. More to come!

I used the non vanos oring. I took it off the non vanos cam sensor and install it on the vanos sensor. It fits good only when i screwed back the sensor be careful since it fits tight once the bolt is all in.
Attached is a photo to compate the oring sizes NV small Vanos green ( too thick)

This is an interesting old school take on it -some overlooked issues
Hard to time properly.
No knock sensors.
The most drastic change between the NV and vanos is Knock sensors. This allows computer advance of spark till knock threshold- its an upgrade in processing power also
