What brand position sensors did you get?

I can't remember. It wasn't BMW I think it was like airtex or something like that

Airtex = Chinese Shit.. Get OEM Bosch. It may not be what's causing your immediate issue but going oem will prevent future issues.

As for grounds it never hurts to run an extra ground from the body directly to the block. Check the original ground for corrosion, poor contact, etc.

Also, check your gas tank and fuel filter. Make sure its not full of sediment / rust. I've seen sediment cause some weird issues with fuel delivery where sitting idle in the driveway is fine but out on the road funky things happen when things get sloshed around..

Ok. Replaced my cranck shaft positon sensor with a non bosch one. The car ran great for about 10 miles and then the problem was back. So I'm going to try a bosch cps next.

Sorry my tps is airtex. Crank is FACET. and cam is AIP electronics. Didn't get OEM stuff because I figured if I could get it to run fine for a while and it goes out again I'll spend the money. But since nothing changed whatsoever then I don't believe the issue is around there.

As for grounds I ran a brand new ground from where the old one was. I'll get another ground wire and ground it straight from the block. I think the one on there now is coming from the motor mount arm

I recommend inspecting your fuel pump if you haven't already.
I had a similar thing happen to me on my swap. Symptoms were a motor that stumbled under WOT, often stalling -- was worse on right turns (which was the dead giveaway to a fuel problem). It was because the sock at the end of my (non OEM) high flow fuel pump came off, sloshing around in there and blocking the pickup under high load. Car ran fine otherwise. Sure was fun fishing that plastic piece of shit out of a 4" hole while breathing in all that carcinogenic fumes.

Its not the fuel pump itself. I still have yet to test the voltage of it when the problem occurs due to it just snowed here so hopefully this week I can take it out real quick.

Nope not the fuel pump, mine is new with a new filter also.

yeah I'd say check the gas tank - I had similar symptoms (m20b25) only experienced under load due to floating cancer in my tank.

It'd also be really helpful to be able to watch your fuel pressure when driving. You can always tape a gauge to your windshield :p

I put a gauge on and it was pumping just fine. I've looked inside the tank before when I was changing the fuel pump and didn't see anything but I guess it wouldn't hurt to check again.

The best thing to do is pull the filter. dump the inlet side into a glass jar. If it comes out like red clay then you've got a sediment issue. Of course this would also show on a FP test under driving conditions. Dwayne's car ran fine for miles until enough sediment clogged up injector #6.

I replaced the filter when this issue first started to happen. So it's got a brand new filter but I'll pull the filter and the pump to inspect the gas tank.

one thing i noticed the other day was that when i rev it normally it backfires. but when i rev it up to higher rpms it won't. i don't know if that's anything significant. and it won't hold it's idle if the engine's cold, it will die 2 or 3 times and then finally stay idling.

IT FINALLY WORKS! I got a tune from sssquid tuning and it works absolutely amazing. I'm not sure what is going on with my trm tune Or what exactly ots actually tuned for but I would very highly recommend sssquid tuning. She finally opened up at full throttle. Didn't die when it was first started but yet still seems to run pretty rich. But she finally drives like a normal car
