    Update: fixed some micro cracks in the booster hose (doubt they were bad to begin with)

    Starts up again, idle drops to almost a bog, then jumps up to 2500, then back down. Just keeps doing that until i shut the car down.
    Then there's a bad shake as it shuts off.

      Another update:
      If i unplug the MAF, it'll idle super low, like it's about to stall and it'll bog a little, but it WILL idle, which is nice.
      With the MAF plugged in, i get that crazy bouncing idle, from 500 to 2500 over and over, then a high rev held

      With the MAF off, if i even move the throttle one millimetre, the revs jump up to 4000. It's like the throttle is insanely sensitive. I have no idea what's going on.

      TPS is getting 5v and resistance seems to be in spec from the bentley.... Any clues?

      My ideas; could be any of these (any input appreciated!):
      -Massive vacuum leak between intake mani and head
      -bad MAF
      -bad TPS
      -bad temp sensor?

      EDIT:
      I'm getting codes 1216 (TPS) and 1215 (MAF). could one trigger the other?
      Cleaned the MAF

      EDIT 2: SOLVED. Tuns out the rubber bump stop for the accellerator was causing a high idle which the maf was trying to compensate for, hence the bouncing. popped it out and voila! idle at 600 and fairly smooth. some lumpiness but i can figure that out later.

      What an idiotic end to this saga :hitler:
