How bad are engine mount spacers?

Even with condor motor mounts, one of my pipes running down from my TMS shorty headers is hitting my subframe. 1/4" spacer or BFH? What say you R3V?

I don't think a 1/4" spacer is going to change the engine angle very much. it's probably fine.

I put some pressure on it with a jack and heated the primaries with a torch to give me some clearance.

I cut a piece of square tube and used a slide hammer to clearance the subframe a bit. it worked as well. (for a 24v swap, but same deal..)

Should of just taken a hammer to the exhaust.

I'm going to try the 1/4" spacers. Should I just do one side, or both?

I would do both considering 24v pans hang low.
Get some new mounts as well. Be mindful when you close your hood too lol.

^ I dented my hood using those fucking lencas mounts like 5 years ago - Engine hoist point and TB... Those fuckers were like 1.5x taller than stock ones. Since they were essentially a threaded rod with two aluminum discs sandwiching a polyurethane disc, I just made a thinner aluminum plate to bring it down enough to close the hood, and I ran it like that for ~4 years.

When I pulled everything, the 25 year old guibo and CSB were still in good shape, so I don't buy the talk about messing driveline angle up with spacers.
