So is the m50 swap worth it?

Yeah, you can buy the paint at any auto store. Duplicolor and VHT both make krinkle finish paint.

Your motor mounts look correct. Your dipstick should connect to a intake manifold support bracket, if not, make one, takes like 5 mins if you are crafty to make it look good.

i started cleaning up my intake manifold today, noticed the temp sensor, does that need to be a e30 temp sensor?

i changed the one on the head, the e30 temp sensor is 1 pin and the e36 is 2, is this right??

whoops, I didn't read the original question correctly. No, use the IAT sensor that was already installed in the intake manifold.

For the head, you replace the rear black sensor with the E30's brown one pin temperature sender.

                                I kinda like it

This is what i did with my mine.

Although there is alot more then just aluminum polish, started with a penut grinder and went form 120 girt to 400 girt sand paper, then rubbing compund with steel woll and then a plain rag, best with an old wash cloth, and finaly as much aluminum polish as you want, or untill you arm gets tired
