Yes you will. I've done it on my car, my friend who is a mechanic has done probably a few dozen. Don't overcomplicate the simple shit and confuse people trying to figure this out. There's enough of that on this forum as is.Comment

We were discussing MC's not too long ago on E30tech. The E36 M3 is also compatible.

My POINT is that the E30 fork and the IX fork are different pieces. If you use the 7ser or the regular E30 forks your brakes will not work properly. I am not saying they will not perform optimality, they will actually lock up while driving the car. The 7ser and the regular E30 forks are longer and you can not get the correct amount of adjustment out of them. which in turn will keep the brakes slightly ingaged and cause the ABS pump to lock up either the front drivers side or the rear passenger side of the car. I know this from experience, trust me.
If you have access to a tap and die set you can run the threads through the 7ser or E30 fork and shorten the back side to an overall length of 40MM. Or just order PN 35 21 1 158 439, i want to say they are $5-$10 with no work.
Just installed my 735iL booster/master out of a 90 e32. All that was needed was bending the lines to meet and swapping out the clevis from my original e30 booster (89325is). Result was actually pedal lower than the clutch and did not actuate the brake light switch, a few turns on the shaft and tighten the nut and viola! Done. The hose doesn't quite reach but I am going to use a tii remote res anyway phuck it 2 tears in the bucket.

I liked the lower pedal postion, I actually bent the brake light switch bracket down so I could keep the brake pedal closer to the gas pedal, mad tyte heel toe yo!
